Pageturners had a lot to say about the book including these comments:
“I loved it – I finished it by the next day, a ripping ride, I inhaled this book, it was easy reading, it took awhile to get all the characters right, she was an alcoholic, easier to read than Gone Girl, Gone Girl characters are more complex, more devious, Rachel was a good character study, it is a psychological crime novel, I wouldn’t describe it as a crime novel there is more to it, it was mediocre, there were too many contrivances, there was not a lot of depth, thought it was a better book than Gone Girl.”
The book’s themes included motherhood or thwarted motherhood, alcoholism, memory, crime, deception and lies. If you’ve read the book, what did you think of it?
